The Monkees – Head (DJ Food Rescore)

A few years ago now, DJ Food rescored Head by The Monkees. He toured it around and I missed it when he was in Edinburgh during the festival, but I did manage to buy a copy on DVD, that he was selling at the gig I went to. Anyway, you can now grab it from Archive.org or simply just watch it above.

D’Marc Cantu – A Second Earth (Mos Deep)

I don’t know much about this guy, but I am enjoying his spacey techno.

Isaac Asimov: The Three Laws Of Robotics

Philip K Dick Interview

This is pretty long. Listening now. It is pretty deep.

Barry Miles’s Starlight – Magic Theater (London Records)

Some crazy jazz moog funk from the 70s. Kinda reminds me of Feral by Radiohead.

Kenny Anderson – LA To Vegas

A nice little Forrest Gump spoof from Converse.

Riding Giants (2004)

Just finished watching this earlier this morning. Amazing! Just such a pleasure to watch and interesting too. Really loved the part about Mavericks in North California. Looks super gnarly. Not that I know anything about surfing, but this is a great documentary to watch. Check it out if you can.

Factory Floor – Two Different Ways (DFA)

Recently I’ve been thinking that DFA has just not been as good as it used to be, but the new single by Factory Floor is sounding great. They kicked off with this track when I saw them earlier this year at Portishead‘s I’ll Be Your Mirror.

Greg Hunt Raiders Of The Archives

Greg Hunt goes through his archives for Skateboarder magazine. This made me want to log off and start doing more stuff. I feel like I waste so much time on the Internet when I could be doing something more productive. If you are interested in seeing more of Greg Hunt’s stuff, then check out this Vans Syndicate blog about him.
