I keep meaning to buy the new Tortoise album and I just found this music video for one of the tracks from it. I Might just buy it this weekend seeing as it is payday. I really like this video. It’s pretty good.
When I ordered my Emperor Machine t-shirt from Sixpack.fr I also order this t-shirt. I have always been fascinated with mushroom clouds, so when I saw this t-shirt I had to order it. Its by a studio called Ill Studio who are based in France. The t-shirt comes with a little fanzine, which you can see some images of below.
McDonalds have been giving away free glasses with large meals again this summer. I got caught out in the rain during the summer and ended up in McDonalds so I bought a large meal and got a glass. I like how they are the shape of cans and actually hold the same amount.

I always feel a little bit sad when I complete a collection. Its a great feeling to have tracked things down and to know you have them all, but at the same time the thrill of the chase is over. Today I finally completed my Emperor Machine Aimee Tallulah Is Hypnotised collection. There is the CD version of the album, the LP version, the screenprint of the artwork and this t-shirt. I got my La Boca t-shirt from Sixpack.fr. I ordered this ages ago, but got it sent to France. I just got it from my brother who was out there last week. Brilliant! What else to collect now? I hope they release some Emperor Machine toys.
Well this came out about a month or so ago, but I was waiting on the vinyl turning up in the UK. It was £14.99, which is a bit much for a 10″ if you ask me. Anyway, it doesn’t matter I bought it. I also bought the download from Bleep as I couldn’t wait for the 10″. This is pretty good. Its just lots of instrumental hip hop tracks made up of some great samples. I can spot one that David Holmes used on the Free Association album. Anyway, if you like the Gaslamp Killer mixes, then this release is worth picking up. Expect some fuzzed out guitars, heavy drum breaks and Russian synths. Oh yeah, another thing that annoyed me about this release is that the tracks on the 10″ are not separated. This has also officially sold out now.
