I meant to write about this ages ago when it got announced. Strictly Kev has had pictures of the artwork for the new DJ Food EP on his flickr page for a while. Henry Flint has provided the artwork for the sleeve. You may know him from the 2000AD comic. The artwork is suitably strange, which matches the music. I am looking forward to the 12″ release which will come with a poster and also a download code for the mp3s. I think this is out in June or early July. There will be two other EPs released throughout the year and then a CD will be released that will compile all the tracks on the 12″s. I really liked Kaleidoscope, so I can’t wait to own this release.

I went to see Deerhunter last week. They were pretty awesome. I should have got into them sooner. I think Cryptograms is my favourite album of theirs. Check it out if you can. I really like this album cover due to the weird patterns. It’s excellent.
Thanks to Craig for sending me the link to this. It’s pretty cool. It’s footage of Broadcast performing the soundtrack to one of Julian House‘s films at the Ghostbox Belbury Youth Club night that happened earlier this year.
This is amazing! Supposedly he created the effects using an old anti aircraft gun sight from World War 2!
This is the full version of the Emperor Machine video. It’s pretty bizarre! Giant golf balls in outer space. I like the little aliens too. This is out to buy on 12″ and digital download from today.
