This poster, for the Warp 20 celebrations in Paris, is pretty nice. Excellent line up as well.

Nous Vous are having an exhibition at Analogue Books in Edinburgh. I guess all the details are in the flyer up there.

Well, I got sucked into the hype which is this 12″. I believe its just a promo and that there will be more tracks by the two. You can listen to snippets of the tracks over at Juno. The a-side is pretty good. It sounds like Burial has done the beats and Four Tet has done the rest. I really like the b-side. It’s got a funky 4/4 beat. Looking forward to receiving my 12″ soon. Anyway, you can pre-order over at Bleep and Norman Records and probably loads of other places as well.

Here are a couple of pictures of Invader‘s work. This is from the Small, Medium, Large exhibition that I mentioned in my Delta post. I really like the work of Space Invader. The idea is excellent and I always enjoy looking out for his invaders whenever I am in a city that he has visited. I really want to go back to the Museum Quarter in Vienna to see the work that he has done on the bridge.
HAL 9000 has to be one of the most famous computer characters in a film. If you haven’t seen Stanly Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, then I really recommend watching it. It really is one hell of a trip. Its incredibly visually stimulating. Anyway, if you want your computer to look like HAL 9000 then I recommend heading on over to the HAL Project and downloading the screensaver and desktop background. There are also some audio snippets as well. Its a very slick looking website.

Here are some pictures of Delta‘s work from the show Small, Medium, Large at the Elms Lester Gallery from 2007. I think it was in October. Sorry for the quality of the pictures.
I’ve been enjoying the new Emperor Machine single this past week! I wasn’t too into the previous one but this is fantastic. While I enjoy Black Ken, I am much more into You Clapper, which is the b-side. Its like being stranded on an alien world desert and being chased by an unknown lifeform! It has some great percussion in it, before busting into some great space disco. As usual the artwork is by Laboca and it is fantastic as usual. I can’t wait to see the artwork for the album. Another great thing about this release is that when you buy the 12″ record, you get a download voucher for some high quality mp3s. This is out now on DC Recordings. Go out and buy the 12″ for the great sleeve, the free mp3s and most importantly to keep vinyl alive!
A New Spirit Happening is Julian House‘s exhibition that is occurring in Stirling from the 1st of May to June the 6th. It takes the form of a collection of “ephemera, screenprints and moving image that hints at the supernatural phenomena and events taking place at the new spirit hall in Belbury”. The exhibition is throughout the whole of The Changing Rooms. I hope to head to this once it has opened. I’ll post up some photos when I do. Oh yeah, they are also selling prints at the exhibition as well.
This is going to be the cover of the new Emperor Machine album, which is due out on June the 1st. I can’t wait to hear it. I know I recently went off the Emperor Machine, but I have been listening to him alot recently. I still think the first album is incredible! La Boca has done the excellent artwork as usual. The album is called “Space Beyond The Egg”. If you want to read the press release, then you can do so here. I see that their will be a special release of the album as well. Hopefully it will feature big dubbed out versions of the album tracks!
