DJ Format and The Soulsavers soundsystem have released this mix cd. It’s a collection of rock tunes all cut up in a b-boy fashion. I haven’t heard this, but it does sound interesting. I always enjoyed the Soulsaver Soundsystem mixes. Hopefully I’ll pick it up over the next couple of weeks though I have been trying not to buy any records recently. Its hard though. This mix cd is available from Piccadilly Records, Juno and probably some other record shops as well. Seek it out.
It’s always good to see someone you know getting organized. Mat Pringle is not only a wicked mix tape creator, he is also a damn fine illustrator and now he has got a shop open online! Excellent.

Ok, maybe I wouldn’t have stuck on that Blackalicious track, but that’s just me! I should add that I didn’t upload this and I am hot linking. Apologies. Just really enjoying this mix.
This is out from tomorrow and from what I have heard it sounds awesome! Much more listenable than previous releases that they have done. It’s available on Domino Records. You can listen to a track on Kieran’s Myspace page. The sleeve is excellent. Its pretty much a jam album as they recorded it over two days in February this year.
