DJ Shadow Brownswood Session May 2002

I remember when this Gilles Peterson show was on. I was so in to DJ Shadow at the time. I had been buying up loads of the old records from second hand shops and was just so excited about The Private Press. I still think it is a highly underrated record, the production is great and the sound quality is far superior to Endtroducing. This radio show was so exciting. He was talking about all these records, some of them I have managed to track down on compilations. I really love the cover of Neil Young, Down By The River. Anyway, I was fortunate enough to catch him on his first mini tour of the UK at the first gig in Manchester. It was great to see the Keep In Time short film by B+ and also when Malcolm Catto came on stage as well, it was great.
